Death of Voicemail Instructions

When you call your loved ones, family, or friends, do you ever wonder why we still listen to the same pre-recorded voicemail instructions?

It's 2014, we know how to leave messages!

Fortunately, we can skip the instructions by entering one simple keystroke. Unfortunately our carriers want to make us suffer by not using a standard convention. If you do happen to know the carrier, the keys are –

* for Verizon
1 for Sprint
# for AT&T
# for T-Mobile

But more importantly, please reach out to your carriers and ask them to either remove the prompt.

Anyone like to start a petition?
